Today was an outstanding day in Kindergarten. We talked about what makes up a community and the interesting places we can find right in our own community of Tuscany. We continued to explore community helpers and the jobs they do in our community. We completed a journal response where we drew a picture of what we want to be when we grow up.
Our arrival centers included a chance to explore shapes. We built buildings with shapes, used plasticine & toothpicks to make 3-D shapes, used geo-boards & elastics to make shapes and played shape roll & write. Please ask your child what shape center they explored today.
Please note the learning commons is closed this week for book exchange due to the set up of the book fair.
There is NO school Thursday Nov 21 and Friday Nov 22 for Kindergarten due to parent teacher interviews. Please book a conference to discuss your child's progress with their responsibility teacher. It is essential that teachers meet with all families to share the results of the
EYE (Early Years Evaluation).

The online interview booking system will opened this weekend and time slots are filling up quickly. Please check your email for further information on how to book your time slot.
Mrs. Conley and Mrs. Watterson will be available for student led conferences from 12:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, November 21. Mrs.Mask will be available from 9:00am-7:00pm on Thursday, November 21 and 8:00am-10:00am on Friday, November 22. The blue and yellow groups will book their conference with Mrs.Mask; the red group with Mrs. Conley; and the green group with Mrs. Watterson.
