We started our day by creating a loose part portrait. We can't wait for you to come to the open house so you can see our amazing creations.

Thank you to our parent volunteers that helped us out this morning. We appreciate the help!

We went for a walk in our community to teepee forest. We went on a colour scavenger hunt, made a nature sundae in a plastic cup, used nature items to create the first letter of our name and played at the park. What did your child notice about teepee forest? What was something interesting they noticed?
Can you find nature items and create your name this weekend?

Reminder of the upcoming open house on Thursday September 19. There will be NO school for kindergarten students on Thursday September 19th and Friday September 20th. (Professional Development Day)


Please make sure to send in all the paperwork from welcome home package. Folders went home today with a picture day notice. Please return the coloured folders on Monday.

Today was an outstanding day in Kindergarten.  We talked about what makes up a community and the interesting places we can find right in our own community of Tuscany.  We continued to explore community helpers and the jobs they do in our community.  We completed a journal response where we drew a picture of what we want to be when we grow up. Our arrival centers included a chance to explore shapes.  We built buildings with shapes, used plasticine & toothpicks to make 3-D shapes, used geo-boards & elastics to make shapes and played shape roll & write.  Please ask your child what shape center they explored today.
