Finger painting Fall trees
Playdough loose parts
Making Fall words with magnetic letters
Writing names and friend names

We read, The Most Magnificent Thing and stopped before the end of the book and had to make a prediction about the little girl made. Ask your child what they thought she created. They drew pictures and wrote about it in their journal.

Mrs. Mask's class had music with Mrs. Coulson.
Mrs. Conley and Mrs. Watterson had gym with Mr. Der.
What did they learn today?

The PM Kindergarten students attended an assembly for Orange Shirt Day. Ask your child what they learned at the assembly. For more information please visit: http://www.orangeshirtday.org

We are all readers in Kindergarten. We want to instill a love of reading in each and every child. Over the next couple of months we will be posting kindergarten reading tips.

#1. Make reading a habit. Read daily (10 minutes a day is better than 30 minutes every three days)*
With colder weather approaching, it is extremely important to have your child get ready independently. Please practice putting on and taking off snow pants, zipping up jackets, putting on boots etc. Mittens and gloves go on last, after we attempt to do up our own zippers. We thank you in advance for your support.

It is the last day for book order forms. Please send them in tomorrow as book orders will be placed on Wednesday.

This Friday is our AM Kindergarten group. There is no school for PM Kindergarten.

We postponed our Terry Fox walk for the AM group until Friday due to the weather.
