Happy Halloween!
Happy Halloween! Kindergarten was very fun today. All of our arrival centers were about Halloween. We printed halloween words, played bingo, roll and count game with rings, crafts etc.
We loved seeing everyone dressed up in their costumes! We drew pictures of ourselves in our Halloween costumes in our journals. Some of us drew pictures of pumpkins, jack-o-lanterns, and trick or treating with our families. We used Smarties to sort by color and graph the number of Smarties in the box. Ask your child what color they had most in their box. After students graphed their Smarties, they got to eat them. This was the highlight of their day!
All students had gym today with Mr. Der . What game did your child play today? Ask them to share.
Students came home with overflowing colored folders. Please empty the folders out and return them on Monday. Every child has more book circles in their folders. Thank you for continuing to read with your child and send the circles back. We are well on our way to meeting our goal of 1000 books!
Please remember there is NO school Friday. Enjoy your weekend! Have fun trick or treating tonight and be safe.
