We completed our Fall Tree Art. We added the final steps and used finger paints to make the leaves on the trees.

We spoke about our sense of hearing. We listened to different genres of music and drew to the beat of the music. Ask your child, what they noticed about the songs and their drawings.

All classes went to gym today. Your child is working on using different movements (galloping, hoping, skipping, etc) and throwing and catching a ball. Have fun practicing these skills at home.

We are working on playing cooperatively during centers. Reinforce cooperative play at home by playing games together. Many of the children are really enjoying many of the boardgames in the classroom. Try having a board game night. Or create challenges with toys your child has a home (building the tallest tower, creating a boat that can float etc. )  Praise your child when they are taking turns, sharing and playing by the rules.

Tomorrow is AM Kindergarten. We will be outside for part of the morning. Please dress your child appropriately. We will be doing our Terry Fox run and staying outside for a listening walk.
