Today we used watercolours to create and paint a background for a fall tree art project. We continued to work on sorting different objects. Students should now be able to help you sort laundry and socks at home. Ask them how they like to sort things. We also talked about creating a classroom library so we asked the students what type of books they enjoy reading. We came up with lots of ideas including dinosaurs, lego, horses, fairies, superhereos, Pete the Cat and Paw Patrol.

Mrs. Mask's Blue (AM) Kindergarten group has been presenting their happiness museum. Talk to your child about what makes you happy and why.

We practiced drawing shapes and people.

Mrs. Mask's class had gym with Mr. Der.
Mrs. Conley and Mrs. Watterson's class had music with Mrs. Coulson.


Kindergarten Reading Tip
*Establish a regular reading time. Create a cozy space in your house and grab your favourite book. It's ok to re-read your favourites.


Reminder that Friday is AM Kindergarten. There is NO school for PM Kindergarten.

Please remember to label all of your belongings, including mitts, gloves and boots.
