GREEN FOOLS ARTISTS IN RESIDENCY CELEBRATION IS ON FRIDAY! 

GREEN FOOLS PHYSICAL THEATRE program ends their two-week Artist-in-Residence experience with us on Friday, and we are offering a special ‘peek’ at what the children have been doing on Friday as well!

An invitation with information and an electronic RSVP has been sent out with the Monday Connect. It will also be on the Physical Education Blog. 

Here is the plan for the Green Fools residency demonstration by students:

Families are invited to attend a class on Friday*. There is a limit of two family members per student. 

*PM Kindergarten classes will have families invited during their regular Physical Education time from 1:20pm – 1:50pm on Thursday, Dec.12.

AM Kindergarten classes will be in the Thunder Dome from 11:00am – 12:00pm; with families invited from 11:15am – 11:45am.

Today was an outstanding day in Kindergarten.  We talked about what makes up a community and the interesting places we can find right in our own community of Tuscany.  We continued to explore community helpers and the jobs they do in our community.  We completed a journal response where we drew a picture of what we want to be when we grow up. Our arrival centers included a chance to explore shapes.  We built buildings with shapes, used plasticine & toothpicks to make 3-D shapes, used geo-boards & elastics to make shapes and played shape roll & write.  Please ask your child what shape center they explored today. Please note the learning commons is closed this week for book exchange due to the set up of the book fair.
