Thursday January 16

Morning Kindergarten was happy to welcome Ms. Grover back into our classroom.  Ms. Grover is a first year education student from MRU and will be with us on Thursday mornings for the next 10 weeks.  Welcome back Ms. Grover!

All classes went to gym. We are continuing to learn about basketball and practiced dribbling and passing skills.

We read the story, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" After reading the story, we sequenced the animals in the story. We also talked about the sight word, see. We then had to place a mixed up sentence in order and draw a picture to go with it.

We played math games today. We played power of ten with our cards and also one more, one less, two more, two less with our subitizing dot cards.

AM kindergarten had a parent volunteer in this morning. Thank you for coming in to help us with our project!

We are looking for glass jars (mason jars, pickle jars etc) for a special project Kindergarten will be doing in the next few weeks. If you have a glass jar at home, can you please send one in with your child. We have a collection of 25 so far but need enough for all 77 kindergarten children. Thanks.

Please note:  Friday is an AM Friday at school.  There is no school for PM classes.

The BLUE group is still looking for a volunteer to help with the trip to vet on Monday January 20th.  If you are able to volunteer, please send Mrs. Mask an email.
