Today we continued to work on our small worlds. We worked with different partners than yesterday to re-create a new winter habitat for an animal. We reviewed what would be important for animals to have in the winter with them; anywhere from things like a shelter, trees, bushes, food and water. Please ask your child what animal they built a habitat for today and what their animal does in winter in order to survive (hibernate, adapt or migrate).

Both AM and PM kindergarten students worked on a new math problem today. There are 10 legs in the snow. How many animals are there? We drew out our animals and counted up the legs in our math journals. Ask me how I solved it? Is there more than one answer?

Both groups had gym and music today.

Please practice the "7 Feet of Snow" song with your child. We will be performing this song at our Celebration of Learning. We need a little extra practice with the end of the song as the lyrics are very quick!
