Monday March 2

We began our day talking about our upcoming field trip to Fish Creek Park. Miss G started by asking the class what we know, what we wonder about Fish Creek Park. We shared ideas and then watched a short video footage of Fish Creek Park. We then drew and wrote in our visual journal about "What I think I will see at Fish Creek Park."

Mrs. Mask classes went to music and Mrs. Conley and Mrs. Watterson's classes had gym. What did your child learn about today?

We learned about the letter Aa and talked about what sound it makes.

This Friday is  PM kindergarten.

The PM kindergarten will be having their celebration of learning at 11:00am. Please come to the front entrance and we will open the doors at 10:55am. Please arrive on time as we will start the presentation with some songs and poems and then the students will take you around and share their learning.

Monday November 18

Today was an outstanding day in Kindergarten.  We talked about what makes up a community and the interesting places we can find right in our own community of Tuscany.  We continued to explore community helpers and the jobs they do in our community.  We completed a journal response where we drew a picture of what we want to be when we grow up. Our arrival centers included a chance to explore shapes.  We built buildings with shapes, used plasticine & toothpicks to make 3-D shapes, used geo-boards & elastics to make shapes and played shape roll & write.  Please ask your child what shape center they explored today.
