Thursday March 12

Today we welcomed some grade 3/4 buddies to come in our class and read with us for our Read A Thon Week. We also voted on our favorite Robert Munch book.

We had a special visitor to our class. We had Constable Tony Moores in our class to come and talk to us.  He talked about all of the tools he uses to keep everyone safe in our community. He told us how the most important tools to use are your brain and heart. We talked about showing kindness and how can you show kindness to others. He read to us "How Full Is Your Bucket". What did you learn from the story? How can you fill someone's bucket?

We all had gym today. We practiced rolling, balancing and some jumps.

We practiced counting on from the biggest number and played math games. Please practice counting on from the biggest number at home.

AM Kindergarten will be going to Fish Creek Park tomorrow. Learners will need to bring a lunch, snack and a water bottle. We will be meeting at the front doors of the school at 8:20am and will return to school at 1:30pm.  Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the majority of the morning.  Thank you to those parents who have volunteered to join us on this trip!  We appreciate your help.
