Thursday March 5
Today we talked and learned about Fish Creek Park and some of the animals we might see on our field trip. We looked at pictures and talked about the landscape.
We looked at an non fiction story about Coyotes. Coyotes are found at Fish Creek Park. After the story, we had to draw about one interesting fact we learned about Coyotes.
We read the story, "Moose Goose Animals On the Loose." We talked about the letter O and the sound it makes.
We voted on which animals we would like to learn more about as we are going to do some research about these animals before we go on our field trip.
We went to the gym and had fun snack today.
The afternoon students got the hub ready for our celebration of learning tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you there. We will open the doors at 10:55am to have parents come and and will start promptly at 11:00am. Thank you!
Tomorrow is a PM Friday. No school for AM students.
We have posted a learning intention for math and a new one for literacy. We will have the literacy observations posted by the 16th. You can check those out on powerschool.
