Wednesday March 11
We learned about our animals diet. We looked through books, watched videos and had a discussion about what we noticed. We added a page in our research books called diet and wrote and drew about it.
We had gymnastics in the gym and practiced balancing and rolling skills.
We learned a new math game called count on. In this game you flip over a card and then roll a dice and count on from the biggest number. If you can add the numbers correctly you keep the card and if not you put the card at the bottom of the pile. You play until all the cards are gone from the pile. Practice the skill of counting on from the biggest number at home.
Please check out the EHS Read-a-thon website! Our goal at EHS this week is to read across Canada! Please use the website to record your child's reading minutes each day. Reading each day can include reading home reading books as well as listening to stories read aloud by someone else (mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, older sibling, etc..)

AM Kindergarten will be going to Fish Creek Park on Friday. (Please see your email for further information) Learners will need to bring a lunch, snack and a water bottle. We will be meeting at the front doors of the school at 8:20am and will return to school at 1:30pm. Please make sure your child is dressed for the weather as we will be outside for the majority of the morning. Thank you to those parents who have volunteered to join us on this trip! We appreciate your help!
