Monday April 20 Morning Message
Literacy:
Materials - white visual journal, pencil, crayons/pencil crayons.
1. Pick your favourite fairy tale that we read last week and draw a picture to represent why it was your favourite fairy tale.
2. Use your 5 star drawing and incorporate some letters and/or beginning sounds in words

Math - Watch video for an example: Math Problem Example
Materials - Blue journal, pencil, number line, manipulatives (counters, blocks, pencils etc)
Mrs. Mask sees 3 buckets of pencils in the classroom. Each bucket has the same amount of pencils in each. What could be the total of pencils in the classroom?
Can you show me 2 different ways to solve this problem. Remember to show me your thinking with drawing pictures and labelling them.
** Something I didn't say on the video is you can use buckets and find pencils in your house to help you out to solve the math problem**
Challenge of the Day: "Laundry Art"
Materials - laundry
Here is your chance to be creative using the laundry at your house. Come up with the best art you can using only laundry. Here are a few photos to give you some inspiration!
