  • I can count and sequence numbers in order to 10 (forwards and backwards).

Can your child find items in your home then sequence them in order from 1-10.

For example, a pom pom, button with 2 holes, triangle (3 sides) , car (4 wheels), a shirt with 5 buttons, a book with the number 6 etc...  how creative can you be when finding numbers?!

An optional activity for you to do after you listen to Mrs. Coulson's read aloud.
Task: Draw a Picture 
Purpose: Reader Response in the form of a drawing 
Support: 5 mins adult support getting the student set up and materials out 
Materials: Paper or visual journal, pencil, pencil crayons, crayons 
Time Frame: 20 mins (adjust this accordingly)
Task: If a monster was coming to your house for a playdate, what would he look like? Draw a picture of your monster friend.
