Please listen to the sounds at Mrs. Conley's pond. Pond Sounds
What sounds do these children hear as they walk to the pond? Think about your pond in Tuscany. What sounds do you hear there? Go for a walk to the pond. Find a quiet spot to sit and listen. What do you hear? If you can't get out to the pond, close your eyes and imagine what sounds you would hear at a pond. Write the word "hear" at the top of your page and then draw what you hear. Make sure you label your picture and write the sound you hear it making.
