Assorted items to create a dinosaur world

Listen to Who Would Win? Tyrannosaurus rex VS. Velociraptor  and / or Dinosaurs Galore!

After listening to the stories, create your own small world play for Dinosaurs. Are you making your habitat for just one type of dinosaur or for many. Think about what does your dinosaur needs. Water? Plants? Other dinosaurs to survive?  Take a look at the pictures below for some ideas. Take a picture or video and upload it to IRIS to show us your creations.

Extension:
In your journal, draw a picture of your favorite dinosaur and tell me a few things about that dinosaur. Tell me its name, what size it is, is it a carnivore or a herbivore?

Math

Choose an item in your house to use as a tool of measurement such as counters, coins, pompoms, blocks etc. You will use the item to go around your house and measure different items. Make an estimate how many you will use, then measure using your counter the correct amount. You can measure the length and height of your items.

Write in your journal, Estimate and Measurement and create a line down the middle. You will take a guess(estimate) before you measure an items and then write the actual number in the measurement column.

Below are picture cards, if you prefer to use these.
